What GLP-1 treatment actually costs, checked and dated

Most advertised prices are a membership fee that does not include the medication. We separate the two, record the date we read each one, and keep the conditions attached to it.

Prices that include the medication

Membership fees are listed apart from these, because they buy clinician access and not the drug. Ranking the two together is the mistake that makes a cheap-looking plan expensive. Prescribing is licensed state by state, so whether a provider can treat you at all depends on where you live — see who is confirmed in your state.

Embody

Watch out for: Embody advertises "STARTING AT $79/month" and never says which dose or plan earns it, so the number you see is a floor rather than a price. Its terms are specific where the pricing is not: all payments for the subscription are final and non-refundable at the time of purchase, multi-month and bundled plans are sold as a single indivisible purchase that is non-refundable in whole or in part, and a cancellation must reach Embody at least 72 hours before the next billing date.

SnagRx

Watch out for: SnagRx promises "GLP-1 with Locked-In Flat Pricing for Life" and runs a countdown headed "Price increases in" on the same screen. Its homepage says "Cancel Anytime"; its refund policy requires 72 hours' notice and its terms require five days. Modern Metabolic Medicine, Inc. owns and operates it, and also owns Embody, where the same compounded semaglutide is $79 a month against $69 here.

Trimi

Watch out for: The "$99/mo" on Trimi's homepage is a monthly equivalent, not a monthly charge. Both plans are twelve-month commitments billed up front: $1,188 for semaglutide and $1,500 for tirzepatide. Trimi says so on the page, which is more than some do, but the figure most readers will carry away is a twelfth of what the card is charged. Trustpilot currently shows no score for Trimi, although reviews are listed.

bmiMD

Watch out for: Monthly rate on a 12-month commitment. bmiMD does not say whether it is billed monthly or charged up front.

Yucca Health

Watch out for: Yucca advertises "No Monthly Membership" and "Cancel Anytime" beside terms that make compounded medication final sale once the prescription reaches the pharmacy, with refunds only for duplicate charges, billing errors, or a provider declining to treat you. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not undo the current one. The "$125/mo FOR LIFE" banner is the six-month semaglutide plan — month to month is $146.
